To begin, you must be at least 15 years and 5 months old. The teen course consists of 24 hours of classroom and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. The classes are divided up into six 4-hour classes, labeled A through F. We currently hold these classes virtually using Zoom, students would attend from home using a laptop, tablet, or a smart phone. Class F must be your last class due to the final exam. All other classes may be taken in any order. Classroom sessions must be completed before students are able to schedule the driving portion of the program.
To begin behind-the-wheel training, you must have your temporary license. The 8 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction are divided up into four 2-hour sessions. They are available all seven days of the week from 9am until 10pm. The instructor will pick you up and drop you off for your lessons at any of our locations. Our behind-the-wheel instruction is strictly private; just you and the instructor.
The State of Ohio also requires 50 hours of driving with a parent or guardian in which 10 hours must be at night. 50 Hour Affidavit (pdf)
